We were visiting Laguna Beach and tried Jacks. It was very good. We made reservations but it was early enough we really didn't need them but by 5:30 -6:00 pm it was getting really busy. My husband and I both had the orange roughy piccata. We also split the Caprice salad. I had a lemon drop Martini which was excellent and my husband had whiskey sour. For dessert I had the espresso martini. The staff is very attentive, we didn't wait for anything.

Jack’s catered my daughter’s wedding, and it was so good! They set up and served three different options and a salad for 60 guests. They were easy to work with and there was more than enough food!

The food was absolutely delicious... the ambiance was the same. It was nice to be somewhere that they really value a great experience, I never felt rushed or forgotten, which happens often as I travel, I usually eat alone. I had the calamari, and the pizza was perfect, and I've lived in Italy, and it rivaled my favorites there. My dessert was out of this world. Seems simple being cream and berries, but the cream was positively sinful, SO rich and creamy. My bartender, Kyril, said the chef is the best. I believe it. They seemed to be closing up, and he made me feel like I had all of the time I'm the world. Being a former bartender and server, I kept trying to offer to pay the bill so he could cash out at least, but he wouldn't let me. Even offered tea when others probably wouldn't, so I accepted. Nothing but 5 stars from me! :)

Early dinner for our anniversary turned out great! Made reservations for outdoor seating.. though it was not busy when we arrived. Server and Manager were warm and courteous. Great service. Cocktails were done right. Coconut mojita, lemon drop, kings club. The walking fool blend was a great choice. House bread was a good assortment. Appetizers were smaller portions of calamari. Bruschetta was flavorful. Lamp chops was great and medium rare would be best. The salmon, trout and A la checa angel hair were good portions and done right..the choco chip creme brule and pana cotta were a great choice of dessert. Place can get a makeover..recommended ..

Really stellar restaurant. Great service, food, and atmosphere. We had the angel hair pasta with clams and the pollo piccata, which exceeded expectations. Our waiter was very personable and professional. I'd eat here regularly if I lived here. So many delicious choices.
