What a fabulous experience! ❤️
My husband and I went for a Sunday brunch to The Tea House On Los Rios.
Our reservation was made with weeks in advance via Open Table for 10:30 am. We arrived at the Los Rios District one hour prior to our reservation to enjoy that enchanting neighborhood. We highly recommend doing that! Parking was easy as San Juan Capistrano provides a 5-hour free & huge parking lot within the neighborhood (you rock, dear leaders of San Juan Capistrano! Thank you!).
As for the restaurant, it is such cute space, filled with flowers and frou-frous! We arrived 5 min prior to our reservation and waited for about 10 min to be seated. 🥰 Our server was Kyle and he did exquisite job! He quickly got to understand our preferences and provided excellent recommendations. He also brought a sense of joy to all the interactions which made us appreciate our time even more.
The food was outstanding. Ohhh, those holy scones with raspberry jam & cream! The salad was yummy, the quiche was tasty (the magic of goat cheese!), the sandwiches were delectable, the desserts were delicious. All dishes were presented very pretty!
We look forward to returning many times over in the future.

My family and I did the Autumn Harvest dinner, and we loved it! It came with a guided tour of local ghoat legends and a wonderful 3 course dinner. There were many beautifully decorated areas and a ghost actor entertaining for the entire night. The staff was also wonderful!

We had a wonderful date here. We had the Oolong and Mango green teas. The sandwiches were delicious, the salad was refreshing and flavorful, the soup was very smooth and savory. The desert was perfect. Highly recommend for tea parties and events. Pinkies up!

I have been wanting to visit this beautiful tea house ever since my bestie mentioned it to me. I can finally say I visited this weekend Labor Day weekend , yay! We celebrated my daughter’s bday month and it was all our first time. We all really enjoyed our time and feel as though it was such a nice experience. Each order came with a heart shape scone jam & cream dip 10/10 & drink or tea, we had the English Pasti 7/10 with coke, The triple Crown 7/10 with kiwi tea, Rosemary Chicken 7/10 with strawberry lemonade & Bombay Chicken Curry 10/10 with cinnamon spice tea 10/10 & Artichoke soup 10/10! For dessert we had Chocolate Ganache Cake 7/10 & Famous Mamboche 10/10. This was such a nice experience I hope to do it again soon! See you next time and thanks again for an awesome time!

The Tea House On Los Rios is our go-to spot for a delightful high tea experience. This absolutely beautiful restaurant transports you straight into a Victorian tea party. The atmosphere, service, and food are all excellent, making it a must-do experience in San Juan Capistrano.
Don’t forget to wear a beautiful hat—you'll fit right in! While dressing up isn’t required, if you don’t, you’ll wish you had. The charm of this place is undeniable.
From the scones and mimosas to the soup, salad, sandwiches, and dessert, everything was delicious. The menu offers a variety of items, including enticing entrees, weekend brunches, and of course, the high tea experiences. The selection of tea is top-notch, and the entire atmosphere takes you back in time.
Make sure to snap a photo in the pink phone booth—it's the perfect way to capture your visit to this enchanting spot. The Tea House On Los Rios is truly a beautiful place, and we can’t wait to return!
